Group Project Kit #1 - "My Stitching Chair Necessaire": is a wonderful caddy that goes over the arm of your favorite chair.  It has a tufted pincushion with a hidden magnet to hold your scissors, and two pockets to hold other necessaries.  There is a scissors keeper and a needle case to accessorize your caddy.  It is stitched on 30 ct. Parchment Legacy Linen in DMC floss, predominately in green with mauve and blue accents.  The stitches used are queen, double-cross diamond, satin, spider’s web flowers, rosette flowers, four-sided, smyrna, rice, palestrina knot, cross-tied windmill and hemstitching.  (The Needle Case incorporates all the stitches to be used, including the hem stitching.  This can be taught in a one-day class and the stitcher can then go home to complete her Necessaire.)

Available companions to your Necessaire are a lovely 4” ivory scrimshaw ruler and thread winder.  These have a delicate pink rose on each piece to coordinate exclusively with this piece. 

 Kit will include:  Fabric, threads, needles, backing fabric, polly pellets for stuffing the scissors keeper, weighted cord, magnet, rose beads and felt.
